Questions
What fencing materials work best for Texas climate?
We recommend vinyl for low maintenance, chain-link for affordability, and cedar wood for natural aesthetics. Each material handles San Antonio's sun, rain, and wind effectively with proper installation.
Do you offer gate automation options?
Yes, we install automatic gate systems with remote access, smartphone control, and solar-powered options for both residential and commercial properties.
How long does fence installation take?
Most residential projects complete within 1-3 days. Larger commercial or agricultural installations take 3-7 days depending on complexity and linear footage.
What's included in your one-year warranty?
Our warranty covers craftsmanship defects, faulty installation, and material failures from normal use. Excludes damage from accidents, extreme weather, or improper use.
Can I get a fence privacy upgrade?
Yes, we add privacy slats to chain-link fences and offer solid wood/composite panels for complete visual barriers in residential applications.

Luis did a good job of listening to my needs on my fence project - 267 ft of 5ft Rogers Ranch fence with cedar face. Showed up when they said they would and finished on time. Would be a 5 star rating but they did leave some rocks and dirt in the brush at the back of my property.

Critical:Responsiveness
It has been a month since I requested a quote from Comal Fence. I have called several times, emailed several times. The only response I got was an email saying "Sorry for the slow response" and "Is it commercial or residential". Never got a quote or a call back.

We had Comal Fence replace our old wooden fence with a new one. They were outstanding! Luis kept me informed of the schedule (it was right on target, except for a spell of rainy weather which held up applying the sealer....which was the right decision and unavoidable). The workers did a professional job, and when there were a few small changes or repairs needed with what they had done (there always are) Luis took care of it with no questions asked. The cost estimate never changed. Comal Fence will be the first people I call if I need any fence work done in the future.
