Super Tots Our Super Tots program is for ages four and five and focuses on attention span and self-control. Children's Class In children's class, students have a chance for promotion and the focus is on discipline and self-defense. Adult Classes Our adult class focuses on fitness, self-defense and learning the art of taekwondo.

At Auvenshine's Taekwondo we believe that a taekwondo program should focus on developing the total person, not just kicking and punching. Master Patty Auvenshine has extensive knowledge of fitness and instructing, from her twenty-eight years of teaching P.E. and Health in the South Fork School District in Kincaid, as well as instructing at the dojang./>.

Our Super Tots program is for ages four and five. In our Super Tots class, the students learn some basic strikes and kicks, but we focus on attention span and self-control. This class is fun and fast paced and meets once a week for forty five minutes. Our children's classes are for ages six to twelve.

Report
Students over the age of five must have a minimum attendance average of twice a week in order to be promoted or to participate in tournaments. You are allowed to bring your child up to three nights per week. If your child is very young or a beginner in our class, we recommend that you limit his attendance to twice a week, at least at first.

Training at Auvenshine's Taekwondo has been life-changing for my kids. They have learned self-defense for sure, but have learned so much more than that. They also fit martial arts training in with other sports schedules, and are much better athletes due to that training. Our family would recommend taekwondo training to anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability.
