Services
Traditional Funeral Services
Traditional funeral services include visitation, funeral ceremony, and committal. Families can customize rituals with music, readings, and personal mementos. Our staff coordinates clergy, facilities, transportation, and paperwork, allowing families to focus on remembrance and support during their time of need.
Cremation Services
Cremation services offer flexibility with memorialization. Families choose between pre-cremation viewings, post-cremation memorials, or private gatherings. We assist with urn selection, cemetery placement, or scattering arrangements. Our team ensures clarity and support throughout the cremation process and service planning.
Pre-Planning Services
Pre-planning services let individuals document their funeral wishes. This relieves loved ones of decision-making and ensures personal preferences are honored. We guide clients through options for burial, cremation, and memorial services, providing peace of mind for future arrangements.
Plant Memorial Trees
In partnership with The Arbor Day Foundation, memorial trees are planted in national forests as lasting tributes. Families receive guidance on selecting forest locations and learn about reforestation efforts. This service offers a meaningful way to honor loved ones while supporting environmental restoration.
Grief Support
Our grief support resources include counseling and community referrals. We provide tools to navigate loss, with access to experienced professionals and support groups. This ongoing care helps families find healing and connection after the death of a loved one.

Report
Mitchell auxter Funeral Home has handled the Gilbert and Stokes family from the Vickrey area for quite some time. My mother passed away in 2019 and her sister, my aunt, passed away in 2021. I also made my own arrangements at this Funeral Home for hopefully well into the future. Dean & Melinda Auxter are caring and helpful folks who really assist in times of need when taking care of a loved one who has passed.
