Waterproof plank flooring is not made like traditional vinyl plank flooring as that the core is waterproof. This compares to everyday vinyl is usually made of some sort of fiberboard. There are two types of this kind of flooring; WPC and SPC. WPC (or wood plastic composite) has a rigid core made of either polymer composites that are expanded with air or plastic with a mix of recycled wood pulp.
