Maybe it's the way the meticulously groomed greens glimmer with the snow-capped Sierras at their back, maybe it's the way the leaves turn deep crimson and yellow-gold in our cool autumn months-but one thing is for sure, ours is like no other course in the country.

It's earned a number of accolades-like being one of The Golden Bear's Top 5 Favorite Courses-but the honor we love most is the one we hear time and time again: "This is my favorite place to play."Our Par 72 PGA Championship golf course features a number of drops in elevation as it meanders 7,500 yards through towering pines and flowing streams-creating a serene and spectacular golf setting.

This downhill Par 4 features a large driving area and plays shorter than you think. After a driver or possibly a fairway wood off the tee, you face a middle-to-short iron shot to a two-tiered green that runs away from you in the back. The green is well protected by the two bunkers and the lake on the right as well as a large, free form bunker which carves around the left-hand side of this challenging putting surface.

The Fitness Center, adjacent to the Clubhouse, offers 5,000 square feet of the finest and most modern cardiovascular and weight training equipment, along with an aerobics studio and Pilates reformers. Group classes are offered including Intermediate Reformer, Athletic reformer, Pilates Fusion, various forms of yoga, TRX, Total Body Sculpt (TBS), Tai Chi, Qi-Gong, masters swim, water aerobics and spin.

Montreux offers a wide variety of youth camps and activities, tennis lessons, swimming lessons and a playground add to the family-friendly atmosphere. Bring your children and grandchildren out on the links at Montreux to sharpen their golf skills. Whether your child has never played golf before, or is a skilled veteran, we invite all juniors aged 6 and up to participate in any or all of our scheduled junior golf activities throughout the season.

Whether you've just finished up a round of golf and want to relax with an Arnold Palmer, or are celebrating an anniversary at sunset, you'll find an array of dining and refreshment options in our Clubhouse. Montreux also offers several member-only special events and social opportunities year round.
