The TCJGA ls looking forward to the 2021 Golfing Season with hopes of another great year for our members and their families! Last year proved to be a strong year for golf with over 300 TCJGA members participating in tournaments, lessons, camps and clinics! We look forward to You being part of our programs this year!
In this program, golfers, from age 5 to 22, develop their game, learn etiquette, and gain self-confidence while playing on some of the finest golf facilities in northern Michigan. The TCJGA Junior Golf Lesson Program will hold 20 lesson sessions during the 2021 season for boys and girls ages 5 through 15.

The Traverse City Junior Golf Association first "teed-off" in the summer of 1984. Since that time, the association has offered instruction and competitive programs to thousands of junior and collegiate golfers. Most are from northwestern Michigan, but many come from all areas of the state and beyond.

With lessons and tournaments held every spring and summer since 1984, the TCJGA introduces and fosters a passion for the game of golf in young people ages five to 22. The TCJGA has also introduced the sport in surrounding elementary schools during the winter months as part of our 'In-School' golf program.

Many parents ask if their Junior Golfer is ready for tournaments? Our Course Ready Clinics are a great way to find out! Golfers will be grouped by age and given instruction by TCJGA Staff while playing on the Bay Meadows course. Our staff will be more focused on course management and understanding of rules than ability.
