Meet Dr. Poggio
Report
Dr. Poggio's passion for Orthodontics brought her to San Diego in 1994, to receive specialized Orthodontic training at the Lawrence F. Andrews Foundation for Orthodontic Education and Research. After years of professional training at the Foundation and subsequently at the University of Detroit-Mercy, Dr. Poggio's love for San Diego led her to return to the area to open her Orthodontic practice, serving the Eastlake community.

At the first visit to the orthodontist a medical/dental history, and a clinical examination are performed. If treatment is recommended diagnostic records are made to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays.
