The GSGA Junior Tour is a statewide program managed by the Georgia State Golf Association providing young golfers in Georgia an opportunity to participate in competitive junior golf. The program offers junior golf competitions throughout the state for players of all skill levels between the ages of 5 and 18 who have not yet started college.

The GSGA Junior Tour team is passionate about helping junior golfers improve their skills and have fun doing it. Our team members come from golfing backgrounds, equipping them with the experience necessary to oversee this program. We're passionate about providing the opportunity for junior golfers to better their skills, compete in tournaments, and prepare for their future in golfing.

In an effort to provide a safe, enjoyable tournament experience to juniors and their families, the GSGA Junior Tour hires several staff members throughout the year. Learn more about these positions below. In order to successfully conduct more than 90 events each year, the GSGA hires 40-50 tournament staff members to assist with the onsite implementation of tournaments.
Divisions

During membership registration, juniors are asked to select a division which best represents their age and overall ability. This division applies for Summer Series events only. For Spring and Fall Series events, juniors are placed in flights at each event based upon their age (see below) and gender.

One of the benefits of membership with the GSGA Junior Tour is a complimentary USGA Handicap. The handicap system allows golfers to enjoy an equal contest against any opponent, regardless of each player's skill level. The GHIN Handicapping System allows players to post scores from various courses, receive revision updates, track their progress and much more.
