Services
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy involves skilled hands-on techniques to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. Our therapists use joint mobilizations, soft tissue work, and muscle energy techniques to restore mobility, reduce inflammation, and improve range of motion. This evidence-based approach addresses conditions like back pain, joint stiffness, and sports injuries, serving as a foundation for comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Neural Mobilization
Neural mobilization addresses nerve-related pain and dysfunction through gentle manual techniques. Our therapists target nerve mobility restrictions caused by conditions like sciatica, disc herniations, and tunnel syndromes. This specialized treatment decreases nerve sensitivity, improves circulation, and restores normal nerve gliding mechanics, effectively addressing symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and radiating pain while enhancing overall nervous system function.
Core Strengthening
Core strengthening programs focus on improving trunk muscle stability and endurance. Our therapists develop personalized exercise plans targeting deep abdominal and back muscles to enhance posture, prevent injuries, and improve functional movement patterns. This specialized training benefits patients recovering from spine injuries, athletes seeking performance enhancement, and individuals with chronic back pain, progressively integrating advanced techniques for optimal core stability and body mechanics.

Im not the type to give reviews regardless of the service I receive but these guys rock! I went in for a pre-employment physical assessment and the Physical Therapist John A was great. He spoke to me like an older brother or good friend might by being brutally honest with some good old fashion constructive criticism. Thank you.

I have worked with a number of medical professionals for many years to address physical pain issues resulting from old injuries--I was thrown from a horse, rolled a car, and fell down a flight of stairs on my tailbone. Each doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist, or body worker I saw and each procedure helped in its own way, so this is not knocking anything that anyone else has done on this journey. However, I realized I needed to do something different in order to get my nerves and muscles to behave. I had previously had a good experience at Northwest Rehab in Fergus Falls, and I am so glad

Huge shout out to Northwest Rehabilitation Services! I've had many surgeries over the past decade leading to lots of physical therapy, including therapy with a college athletic trainer/physical therapist and James has by far been the best. If you want to know what he's doing and why, he'll walk you through it. If you'd rather talk about the weather, football, family etc. he'll do that too. James and his team are trained in manual therapy specialization which uses a hands on approach and is much more than the typical stretching, balancing, and exercising that you receive elsewhere. I appreciated Dr. Bollingers approach to rehabilitating my knee. He took time to educate and illustrate exercises that I needed to do inside and outside of our seasons. After a few short weeks I have experienced major improvements and look forward to getting back to 100% over time.
