Karen Reynolds is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Registered Nurse whose passion is helping clients bring their mind, body and spirit back to a place of regulation, health and wellness. Having developed an early love for the sciences, Karen's first career was as an Intensive Care Unit RN with advanced specializations in open-heart, cardiovascular and kidney related issues.

In her late 20's she suffered from several serious health issues. On a lark, she opted to try acupuncture and both issues resolved entirely.

My best honest answer is: some aspects of the mechanisms of acupuncture can be scientifically explained but there are others we don't yet understand. Records do show that for the past 4,000 years, 1 acupuncture has been successfully used to maintain and restore health. Acupuncture regulates the immune system, for example, by balancing the production of lymphocytes.
