Almost 10 years later, Horace moved the pest control operation to middle Tennessee and his 4 children joined in. After running the business and building a great reputation for 25 years, he sold the middle Tennessee interest to his oldest son Vernon "Jr." Sherrill. In a parking lot of a customer's home, Jr. scratched out a logo on a napkin and "Sherrill Pest Control" exterminators was officially born.
