Regent Jewelers
Regent Jewelers ZERO IMPACT diamond policy is one of the reasons that our clients choose to purchase their engagement rings from us. Our diamonds are GIA graded and chosen to be part of our collection after sorting through hundreds of diamonds which just did not make the cut. Regent Jewelers actively buys from the public only those diamonds which pass our quality standards.

Once purchased from the public these diamonds undergo study to see if they can be improved upon. They are inspected carefully and submitted to our expert diamond cutter who then recuts them to make them more brilliant and lively. Now you have several groups of jewelry which can be more easily sorted.

How to buy a ruby, you ask. Ruby, the red colored corundum (mineral name of sapphire), is one of the most valuable gemstones in the world. In classic literature rubies are used to compare very valuable things. Rubies are valued based on origin, color and clarity.

A very valuable ruby would be accompanied by a grading report from the American Gemological Laboratory or the Gemological Institute of America stating the origin to be Burma and the color to be even and untreated or heated.Rubies are also mined in other parts of the world. However, the most valuable come from Burma also known as Myanmar.
