Dr. Harvey is the only dentist I trust. You are in good hands with him. As such, I buy the yearly packages to have my teeth cleaned. Due to Covid and the office closing down in early 2020, my cleaning was canceled. Since then I have been scared to go.
Today, I called to ask if they would honor my prepaid package. They will not. It’s expired, mind you, I paid for it. Unfortunately, as a disabled veteran, I cannot afford at this time to buy another $4-500 package, so I am out of luck. This is all very disheartening as I loved the office and my dentist. Dental fear and a pandemic caused me to wait

This dental practice has a habit of urging patients to proceed with unnecessary and expensive dental work. My husband was told he required a deep cleaning for $1200 another dentist said that was not true and he received a "normal" cleaning. I was told I needed a crown replacement. Another dentist said No! My tooth had a root canal and was dead. All I needed was a 10 minute repair for a fraction of the cost. Beware!!

My wife and I both had to change our dentist, when our insurance changed. We both tried here and the hygienist told us we both needed deep cleaning at about $800 out of pocket. We got a second opinion from a new, different dentist to see if it was necessary, they said there was absolutely no need for the suggested deep cleaning. Our first dentist of many years never suggested a deep cleaning either. This is just two peoples’ experience, but if an expensive service is suggested it might be worth a second opinion.

Was incorrectly told that a service was covered by my insurance, so I agreed to undergo that service. I was then sent a bill with NO details as to what the bill was for, after I had closed out payment with them. Will not be returning, and do not recommend for others who do not like being surprised by expensive bills with no breakdown.

My husband and I went here as new patients after moving. They were super nice but ended up telling us both we had multiple cavities and the prices. Neither one of us get cavities often so we just felt something was up and didn't schedule the fillings at that time. We just got into a new dentist and neither of us have a single cavity. We even asked them to double check. Be careful!!

As a 1st time patient at Summit Family dentistry I was apprehensive going in to a new dentist. I was so very happy with my experience! The staff was so warm and welcoming from the second I walked in. Dr. Gray was so gentle and explained everything going on during my tooth extraction. She kept me calm and comfortable during the entire process. She even called me later in the afternoon to check on me and ensure I wasn't in any discomfort and feeling OK. I would definitely recommend Summit Family Dentistry. My whole family is switching to them!

I absolutely love this place. I had a bad experience at a dentist several years ago, so was afraid to find a new dentist. Summit Family Dentistry has been really amazing to work with. I honestly have never had a better experience in a dental office than this! Everyone is super friendly and the office is run efficiently but without the "herd them through" mentality of some offices. They take their time to put you at ease and address all of your concerns and questions. I highly recommend Summit Family Dentistry and actually look forward to my next visit!

I have had excellent care and strong personalized service at Summit Family Dentistry. Recently I had a minor dental emergency when a crown came loose and they were able to see me and fix the problem effectively within a couple hours of my phone call. The staff is warm, caring, and welcoming and work to go the extra mile. I cannot recommend them strongly enough!

I am not one to write reviews but hope my review helps others like me. I have avoided the dentist for many, many years and finally found a dentist and practice that I trusted. I originally went into Summit Family Dentistry three years ago but due to my extreme fear of the dentist I did not complete treatment. I'm a runner! Because of their kindness during the first visit, I decided to go back a couple of weeks ago and start the process again. I was surprised that they still remembered who I was and had remained hopeful that I would return. I have never come across a team of professionals that care

Had a crown put on around 3 years ago and it just feel off not chewing on anything. The crown and post are one unit and now I have a decayed tooth that needs to be pulled and an implant. The current dentist said Someone was trying to be a hero and it should have never had a crown put on. Well I guess the only good thing out of this is that summit got my money

They let me " go" for not a good fit.. This is unheard , I have never ever been turned down by this clinic with Dr. Secrist. I believe the clinic became business only , not treating people with understanding their needs and actually helping if the patient cant pay them 2K every 6 months through insurance. If this is not happenning, you are not a good " fit " for them . They "select" patients - if you unable to bring the money to their plate for whatever work they demand, you are all of sudden becoming a not a good "fit" for them.

I was referred by a trusted friend for their free dental care day. When I arrived the volunteers were very welcoming and non judgmental (I always fear being judged for taking advantage of a "discount") one of their interns Cole took great care of me to get me started. After paperwork was done he did an excellent job taking vitals (blood pressure and pulse) and then walked me to the next waiting area. I honestly dont see why this dentistry is getting bad reviews as a guy that got traumatized by poor work at a dentist this is my 1st time coming back since I was 17 and I cant complain they treated noth me and my wife like they knew us for years now and there goals were to keep us calm and get our teeth healthy Dr. Richard Harvey checked my teeth right after and got down to what I needed to work on was extremely straight forward and a very cool guy and a big thanks to Sarah for getting my mouth all cleaned up I appreciate it! I have been going to Summit Family Dentistry for over 20 years. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends. The atmosphere of the office is comforting and homey with a touch of elegance. The staff and scheduling is always wonderful. I know when I have an emergency situation it will be handled quickly and efficiently. I get calls back after procedures to see how I’m doing. Stay away from this place, while it might look nice, they have to lure you in somehow before they take you for long and expensive ride! I could find a toothless bum on the streets with more ethics than this place has!! They lure you in being all nice, then you get the outrageous bill, but don't think it's over because then 2 months later you will get another bill for 3x the original amount...unless you have $$$$ to waste do not go here, you will end up homeless from a 'simple' cleaning...stay away!!!

I went to this office, and they confused my insurance with another plan. They quoted me for services while I was in the chair but were giving me incorrect rates (as they had mixed up the insurance plans). I am now stuck with a $900.00 bill for services that were quoted at a fraction of that.
The staff did an incredible job at making this right, and I am looking forward to my upcoming appointment on Monday. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced.
