Michael Broussard, a Louisiana native, earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1986. He then attended graduate school at Mississippi State University and completed his Master's Degree in 1987 in Forestry Economics & Management. He has lived in Nassau County since 1991 after he graduated from Louisiana State University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree.
