Founded in 1896 in the Village of Westfield, the Carpenter Funeral Service was the trusted name in Funerals for over 59 years. Emma Carpenter and her son Carlton, "Carpy", as he was known by all, were charged with the care of Westfield's departed sons and daughters.

Michael K. Blodgett, is a graduate of Penn State and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Mr. Blodgett has over 39 years of experience in the Funeral Profession in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York State. He is very well respected by his peers as a truly professional and innovative Funeral Director.
