My journey into the world of heating and air conditioning began with my unlikely enlistment into the US Army at the age of 17 as a 52-C Utilities Equipment Repairman.
During my enlistment, I was deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003. At the end of my enlistment in the Army, I decided to return to Afghanistan as an independent contractor, once again lending my services to combat operations. I spent many months traveling around to the Forward Operating Bases in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan, lending my budding HVAC skills to soldiers based on the front lines.
