Methadone Maintenance
Our methadone maintenance program provides controlled dosing to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings. This evidence-based treatment enables patients to stabilize their lives while participating in counseling and behavioral therapies. With decades of research supporting its effectiveness, methadone maintenance remains a cornerstone of our comprehensive approach to opioid recovery.
Buprenorphine-Assisted Treatment
Buprenorphine-assisted treatment offers an alternative medication option for opioid addiction. This partial opioid agonist reduces cravings with lower abuse potential. Combined with medical supervision and counseling, our program individualizes care to address each patient's unique recovery journey through flexible treatment protocols.
Counseling Services
Our professional counselors provide personalized therapy sessions addressing addiction's psychological aspects. Through individual and group sessions, patients develop coping strategies and problem-solving skills. This evidence-based approach treats co-occurring mental health conditions while emphasizing long-term relapse prevention and personal growth.
Medical Supervision
Board-certified medical directors oversee every patient's treatment plan. Regular health assessments monitor medication efficacy and address comorbid conditions. Our comprehensive medical approach includes hepatitis C and depression management, ensuring holistic care that supports both physical and mental health recovery.
Aftercare Support
Our aftercare programs provide ongoing support for sustained recovery. Patients receive assistance with legal advocacy and healthcare coordination during treatment transitions. Through structured follow-up services, we help individuals maintain sobriety while rebuilding personal and professional relationships post-stabilization.

We’re simply a paycheck. It’s our treatment but yet we’re called “lifers” and r told we will fail if we ever leave. Try tapering off ur dose to get out of there and see how ur treated. They keep telling me I can switch to subs, but why switch one for another when I want out? It’s not ur treatment. I can only go down 1mg every TWO WEEKS, bc of safety,,,But if I cut off my insurance they AWS u at a 4mg drop a day! How is that considered safe? Methadone should be a temporary use to get off opiates, not a life sentence. U don’t talk to clients about life after

I am absolutely furious with how I am being treated, or the lack of treatment should I say, I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the facility to see if I can possibly get some help.. with absolutely NO return phone calls after 3 weeks of calling on a daily basis. Every morning. I have left countless voice messages on someone's voice-mail and there is just no chance for help. This facility is by far the worst at trying to get help. If you need help DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!

The medical staff is great honest most of all they all care about the people they help and treat.they run this place like a normal hospital no problem with a pushy security guard they have staff members that watch the floor groups a great normally run about an hour great place to get treatment and help for your addiction or pain issues although you cannot tell them that you're going there just for pain and has to be for addiction purposes only it's a great place to get treatment and help for those that want it the first step of treatment is acknowledging that you need treatment and then the second

I used to go here, and I now live out of state and live in CT. If I had the money to move back to Maine and go back to CAP Quality Care, I would!!! Absolutely the best counselors u could ever have, they actually help you and help you beyond just your addiction, receptionists are respectful, treat you like your a human being not an animal or something. The director and the doctor there are the best and sweetest people!! The nurses are probably the best bunch of nurses you will ever meet. I don't know if all the staff is all the same since I was there but when they got new people when I was there
