Located on 143 acres in beautiful Grand Traverse County, the Traverse City Golf and Country Club is peaceful respite from the fast-growing, vibrant downtown community of Traverse City.Our 18-hole golf course is the perfect blend of subtle challenges and natural beauty, and our social activities, dining and entertainment offer a wide choice in the inviting environment of our recently remodeled clubhouse.

The golf experience at Traverse City Country Club is second to none in the Northern Michigan area. Nestled among mature trees and clear waters, we welcome you to experience why we are often referred to as the "Gem on the Hill." We proudly offer our members various opportunities to practice, play, compete and socialize among other golf enthusiasts and professionals, all within a few minutes of downtown Traverse City.

Our renowned 18 hole, par 71, 6,330 yard golf course was designed and built in 1915 by Tom Bendelow. As one of America's pioneer golf course architects, Tom Bendelow eventually designed over 400 golf courses in the United States. Most recently, the Club presented its newly redesigned 9th hole, which was designed by Renaissance Design, a local company known throughout the world as a leader in golf course design.

Located in the heart of downtown Traverse City, our 18 hole course is the center of our club. The Men's Golf Program offers members a wide variety of golf experiences, including Shotgun Tournaments and weekly events. The Ladies' Golf Program provides members with league play (Tuesday evenings) as well as Invitationals, Scrambles and 18 Hole Events (Wednesdays).
