I have had 13 orthopedic surgeries over my life so I am familiar with the standard protocol of PT.

No, in the state of Georgia you can see your physical therapist for 21 days or eight visits, whichever comes first, prior to receiving a referral from your medical doctor. The exceptions are patients who currently have Medicare, who are required to obtain a physical therapy referral prior to the initiation of physical therapy.

Tony received a Bachelor of Science in cellular and molecular biology from the University of West Florida and graduated from the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Georgia State University in 2011.

Pain which lasts longer than 3 months, without any reasonable explanation, is considered chronic. Chronic pain is multifaceted and therefore we approach it from both an orthopedic and neurological perspective. Here at Atlanta PT every patient receives individualized care in a private 50-60-minute session with their physical therapist.
