The magnitude of trauma and stress for our Veterans can be devastating for both themselves and their families without specialized treatment. The degree of psychological distress is common in the early aftermath of traumatic exposure. When suffering is persistent, it interferes with our Bio-Psycho-Social functioning.

LWBHS recognizes that there is no better time than the present to offer an outlet of mental health resources for our youth and provide therapeutic engagement. Due to Mental Health resources remaining limited, it's consequence: The emerging incidences of child suicide gestures and attempts sharply increases, such as the experiences of bullying, inter-personal violence, and negative effects of mental health stigma.
Telehealth

Our providers offer TeleMental Health Services delivered via Telemedicine which ensures treatment equivalent to in-person care. Clients who engage in tele mental health services sign consent for tele services and shall be in consent to these services prior to their session.
All clients are aware of and sign an acknowledgement regarding LWBHS's organization policies and procedures as well as positions regarding in person, telepsychiatry, and mental health services prior to initial visit.Clients are expected to incorporate these guidelines at all times when engaging with our staff of professions.
