In 1984, following nearly a life-long career in the furniture industry, Nolan Albarado partnered with his son Michael to create Albarado's Fine Furnishings. With a lineage coming directly from Acadian settlers, the Albarado family was proud to build their business in the community they have called home for generations.

After over three decades of providing excellent service and furnishing to Acadiana with the finest products, Michael Albarado decided to retire. In 2019, ownership of Albarado's Fine Furnishings was given to long-time employee, manager, and friend Don Richard as well as seasoned designer Peggy Smith.

I love this store! They carry many lines for any budget. Many of their brands allow you to choose fabrics/leathers. Their friendly staff will assist you in choosing just the right look. I highly recommend Albarado’s Fine Furnishings.

Our Albarado experience is less than stellar to say the least. We did not expect to be profiled and asked 20 questions just to be able to look at furniture let alone purchase. The prevailing attitude of this small store was far and away completely out of line. We happily bought elsewhere.

Nice staff but a 30% higher price than competitors is NOT worth it. Do your research before you buy here. I found the quote to be somewhat deceiving. Same piece, better fabric DELIVERED from North Carolina for $600 LESS.
