Irvina holds an AAS in early education from Lake Washington Technical College. She maintains CPR/FA/HIV training, attends conferences and trainings throughout the year, and has a life-time clean criminal history. Under the previous name of Family Childcare & Preschool the program was Accredited through NAFCC (National Association of Family Child Care) for six years.

These are important questions that children love to hear us ask. Children gain a strong level of competence and initiative when the adults in their life support them by letting them make choices. Rather than entertain children, or move them from one activity to another, on the adult's schedule, staff at a Quiet Forest Preschool encourage children to become more responsible for their own activities.
