The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience. Dr. Gelder was born and raised in Salem, OR and graduated in 2002 from dental school at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.
After graduation he spent four years with the Navy, first in California where he completed a General Practice Residency gaining post-graduate experience in all areas of general dentistry at the Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton.After that it was off to Japan where he spent three years stationed at the Marine Air base at Iwakuni.
