The therapeutic act of giving and receiving massage therapy is an essential part of leading a healthy lifestyle. As a licensed massage therapist, I serve as a guide, educator, and space holder for you as your body heals and you seek heightened levels of wellness and self-awareness. Using my knowledge of the soft tissues of the human body I assess various layers of fascia, muscle, and connective tissue.
By massaging and manipulating these tissues with healing intent and respect for you, my client, I enable the curing powers that lie within you. Sessions are always confidential and are based on your needs, even if those needs change mid-session. Celestial Hands Healing Arts is owned and operated by Adam Mel Campos LMT. Adam received his massage therapy training at the Cortiva Institute Groton Campus and founded the business in 2018 in New London, CT. Celestial Hands opened with the goal of being a place where therapists could work together to provide the most welcoming and effective space for our clients to heal body and soul.
Reopening

Establishments cannot exceed 50 percent capacity, services must be performed by appointment only, and waiting rooms must be closed. Any service that requires a client to remove a mask, including facials and beard trims, cannot be performed in Phase 2. All those within the massage space are required to wear a mask at all times including massage therapists and clients.

The official definition of massage is the intentional and systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body to enhance health and healing. To me massage is that and more. It is a rhythmic intuitively guided sequence preformed by a practitioner with the intention of enhancing the overall wellness of our clients.

When you book your session with Celestial Hands Healing Arts, you will receive an email confirming your appointment with a "Health History Intake" form attached. The form informs your therapist of medical conditions, your areas of concern/preferences, your level of pain or discomfort on good and bad days, what helps reduce the pain and what makes it worse and contact info.
