Report
Vortex has greatly improved the quality of my life, and now I have a solution whenever my benign positional vertigo flares up. I've had BPPV off and on for over 30 years. Like many, I tried going to different doctors, had many tests done, and tried various treatments. However, it was not until I made an appointment w/ Diron that I finally found someone who really knows how to fix vertigo problems.
Balance and Falls
Report
My time spent with my therapist was very much worth it. She is a very competent therapist and is obviously well-trained. She was able to discuss the issues with me and to teach me the proper mind and body actions to improve my balance. I feel much more confident. Your balance is based on how three sensory inputs (vestibular, proprioception, and vision) convey information about the environment to your brain.
BPPV/Vertigo
Report
This was the place and treatment I needed just when I needed it. The treatment I had for my vertigo was far better/more successful than previous treatment in another location. At Vortex Physical Therapy and Balance, our physical therapists are highly skilled in treating Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
Concussions
Report
My therapist was very good at explaining the "whys" and how to handle symptoms of my concussion. I have seen improvement with her expertise. Following a concussion, you may experience lingering symptoms of dizziness, headaches, vertigo, or imbalance. If these symptoms persist and are preventing you from participating in your regular daily activities, ask your medical provider to refer you to a trained vestibular therapist.
