Went back for my second visit for my annual eye exam. I have VSP insurance and last year when I went I believe I paid around $15 with the copay. So this year I went back thinking I'm gonna pay the same thing. Much to my surprise after I finish my eye exam I was told my total was $136. Like whaaaa. The receptionist said the VSP didn't renew or kick in until December which I was totally caught off guard because I'm paying monthly for it and don't see why I can't use it whenever I want. Anywho, my thing is coming from Lens Crafters where there eye exam is $75 even w/out insurance

I've been a patient here for decades because he is the only optometrist that can get my contacts correct. Great service. Great staff. Love the Mom and Pop atmosphere that is so hard to find now. A great exam and corny jokes to go with it! I love it!!! They take the time to do it all right. Kudos!

Dr. Richard Rigsby and staff are really great. They were recommended to me by a close friend a few years ago. I've never regretted becoming a patient. Care is thorough, friendly, and well explained. Prices are in line with other offices in the area. Have even had an expensive pair of glasses with substantial damage repaired here. Would recommend Rigsby & Rigsby to anyone.

Dr. Rigsby is nice, and possibly even a really good eye doctor, but I had a very frustrating experience with his staff and decided to seek another provider. Other reviewers don't seem to share this viewpoint, so perhaps I just had bad luck.

I have been going to see Dr. Richard Rigsby for about 10 years now and I always have a wonderful experience. Hes a great doctor with a fun sense of humor. The staff is always great as well. Highly recommend. I will be truly saddened when they decide to retire.
