In 1965 a vacation to visit a distant Canadian relative's department store lit the elegant spark that the Pacific Northwest had been waiting for, and Eleanor Chown was just the modern woman to transform dream into reality. After a decade of traveling the world with Frank by her side, Eleanor sought out the finest offerings in antique furniture and home decor to bring home to Oregon.
