While the nature of funeral services has changed since C. Abram Snyder began serving the community in 1940, you'll find that his commitment to helping others in their time of need continues after four generations. 141 E. Orange St. was first constructed by Reuben Baer and served as his and his family's personal residence.

The handsome Italianate-styled mansion with a brick carriage house and adjoining stone property on East Orange Street is a warm, comfortable place to discuss plans and provides a classic setting for all sizes and types of services. Recognized nationally for its historic and architectural significance, the home was built in 1872 as the residence for almanac magnate Reuben Baer.
