Robert D. Aufrichtig, D.M.D. has been practicing in Mt. Kisco since 1993. Before that, he practiced in Boston and New York City. He received his D.M.D. degree from Boston University and his B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University. Additional specialized training was received through a Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at the Rose F. Kennedy Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Bristle type and head size are actually more important than getting a brand name toothbrush. Soft toothbrushes with smaller-sized heads are recommended above those with medium and hard heads because the smaller sizes allow you to better reach and clean each individual tooth. My dentist retired. Then I tried a few who I really did not feel comfortable with. I picked Dr. Aufrichtig from the insurance directory because I liked his name, which means "upstanding" in German. How lucky, because Dr. Aufrichtig is very wonderful. Not only is he a kind, friendly person but he has superb dental skills.
