Services
Dry Eye Therapy
Our dry eye therapy utilizes advanced techniques like LipiFlow and OptiLight by Lumenis to address chronic dry eye syndrome. These FDA-approved treatments target the root causes of dry eye by improving tear quality and reducing inflammation. Patients benefit from personalized care plans designed to restore comfort and protect long-term eye health through non-invasive, clinically proven methods.
OptiLight by Lumenis
OptiLight by Lumenis is a groundbreaking intense pulsed light (IPL) treatment for dry eye management. This non-invasive procedure targets inflammation and meibomian gland dysfunction while stimulating tear production. Clinical studies demonstrate its effectiveness in improving tear break-up time and reducing symptoms with minimal downtime, making it ideal for patients seeking lasting dry eye relief.
Eye Exams
Our comprehensive eye exams assess visual acuity, eye health, and systemic conditions affecting ocular wellness. Using digital retinal imaging and advanced diagnostic tools, we detect early signs of diseases like glaucoma and macular degeneration. These exams ensure accurate prescriptions while establishing a baseline for maintaining optimal vision throughout patients' lives.
Myopia Control
Our specialized myopia control programs target progressive nearsightedness in children using evidence-based approaches like orthokeratology and multifocal contact lenses. These treatments slow axial elongation of the eye to reduce future risks of high myopia complications. Early intervention helps preserve visual acuity while improving quality of life for young patients.
Digital Eye Strain
We address digital eye strain through customized treatment plans that include specialized eyewear, ergonomic adjustments, and lifestyle modifications. Our approach targets symptoms like eye fatigue and blurred vision caused by prolonged screen use. Patients receive practical solutions to maintain comfort and productivity in today's technology-dependent environment.

Worst customer service! Had an over priced exam & purchased glasses. Receptionist treats you like working is an inconvenience in her life. No respect. Promised lenses & frames will be ready 7-10 days. Going on 7 weeks and still no glasses! Had a major change in eye vision and waiting 7 weeks to be able to see is unacceptable. I have contacted them 4 times and still no call back or refund. I guess next steps are legal.

Sandia Vision Clinic Nobhill

I'll be thorough because I thoroughly DO NOT recommend Sandia Vision Nobhill. The best ever, Dr Alyssa Irons, no longer accepts Presbyterian Centennial after my family and I have been happy going there for twenty years. I was looking forward to another office and Dr and Sandia was the place that had the first appt months out. The parking lot appears to be only for so I parked at Flowers. I stood at the locked door looking into the office with three workers ignoring me while I followed the directions to call from my car to be allowed in (10/21). They finally

Some staff members are nice. Call them to schedule an appointment, they never answer, ended up texting them got a few responses back then never heard from them again about the appointment or anything.

Appalling lack of customer service and ridiculous Covid restrictions still in place. Bought a very expensive pair of prescription eye glasses that literally disintegrated within a few months. A stress crack appeared on the lense where the frame attached and one of the nose pads fell off.

This is going to be a long post. I apologize in advance. On May 19th I went to Sanidia Vision on Eubank to order new glasses. I was very satisfied with the pair I got from them two years ago and with their service. Due to Covid, the office is locked down tighter than Ft. Knox now. You have to call them when you arrive so they can unlock their door to take you inside. Picking out frames was "interesting", too. You sit down across a desk from the person helping you select frames. They bring several choices and help you pick one. You aren't allowed to peruse the selection on the wall
