With years of experience serving Augusta and the greater CSRA, we would love for your family to join us! Dr. Kelly Hughes, Dr. Jennifer Bates, and our experienced team will make sure that your child's dental needs are met.

Whether it's laying the foundation for a healthy smile or fixing something that's not quite perfect, we offer all of the dental services your child needs to look and feel their best. Scheduled twice a year, preventive care visits include oral examinations, cleaning, fluoride treatments and x-rays. This is a thin protective coating applied to the deep grooves of teeth to help prevent decay.
Dr. Kelly Hughes

Dr. Kelly Hughes was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and has been in private practice in the Augusta and North Atlanta areas since 2005. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Georgia College and State University, and completed her dental and advanced pediatric dental training at the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University) in 2003 and 2005, respectively.
Dr. Jennifer Bates
Report
Dr. Jennifer R. Bates is excited to practice dentistry in the same community she grew up in. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology (2009), she spent some time working in Charleston, SC. She then returned to Augusta to attend the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where she completed her dental and advanced pediatric dental training in 2021.

Patient Instructions

We want your time with us to be as easy and as comfortable as possible. That's why we've compiled our patient instructions here so you can be prepared coming into your visit. Gauze should stay in place with gentle biting pressure. Change the gauze every 15-20 minutes until the bleeding subsides. If your child will not keep the gauze in his/her mouth, check the area(s) periodically until the bleeding has stopped.
