I had a similar experience to what Erik had. I took my 2 year old in for an ear infection for the 3rd time. He wanted to try some "new" ear drops that would correct the problem. When he brought her back in the room he told me he had to muzzle her. Well come on, she was in pain and had some stranger manhandling her. So about a week later her ear starts acting up again and I called there and told the gal what was going on and she said she would talk to the Dr. and call me back. So she calls me and said the Dr. said to wait a couple days and see what happens because she was uncooperative

First time to visit Dr. Sexton. He is compassionate and kind with our senior pup. He was reasonably priced and wasn't pushy about recommending lab tests, additional meds, specialized food, etc. We were very satisfied with his care and office staff support. I recommend him without hesitation.

Conscientious, kind and give amazing service without pushing extra vaccinations or lab tests. Very sweet with my spoiled dogs and even called groomer to confirm rabies vaccines for me. I'm very glad they are back in Alamo.

I brought my dog here to be neutered & to have a few baby teeth extracted. Dr sexton was very nice & seemed to care about my dog. It had a very family feel to it, which I appreciated because I really don't want my dog to feel unnecessarily stressed. It's bad enough going to the vet! Everybody who worked there was friendly & seemed to be ready and waiting for my dog to arrive. The pricing wasn't cheap, but it wasn't the MOST expensive. I was very happy with how my little guy seemed to feel after, and he has snapped back quickly. He didn't even have to wear

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience at this clinic. I went in to bring my 8 month old aussie in because he had a bacterial infection on his stomach, his armpits, and on his ear. I knew this going in and he just brought my puppy back lecturing me for about 20 minutes about how badly behaved he is before only really telling me what I already knew. He lectured me on how my 8 month old dog isn't a puppy anymore and the way he acts is unacceptable. And yes, he is a little misbehaved, but he is completely manageable and I don't understand how a strange man grabbing you, taking you into

Found our forever vet. Dr. Sexton and Loraine are wonderful. They're solutions oriented but are always cost conscious. They run a clean, friendly shop and they provide really excellent care. We're so happy and thankful they're in Alamo. If they ever relocate, we will follow :)

Dr Sexton is hands down the most caring vet you could ever wish for! He truly has the compassionate touch. I have had all sorts of animals my entire life and am continually impressed with each visit to this clinic. I was referred by a friend as a place for a second opinion and Dr Sextons knowledge saved my dogs life. I am truly grateful for the knowledge, compassion, and reasonable pricing. :)
