Ron has been with our practice since 1996. He received his training in the US Army and attended the Academy of Health Sciences at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, where he was trained as an Eye Specialist. Ron is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He is married and has four children. He enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and riding ATVs.

He attended Idaho State University, studying biology before transferring to Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, where he completed his bachelor of visual science degree. He then completed his doctorate degree in optometry at Pacific University's College of Optometry as a member of the Optometric Honor Society, Beta Sigma Kappa.

A blepharoplasty (commonly called a lid lift) is a surgery to repair droopy eyelids. It involves removing excess skin and fat from the upper or lower eyelids to restore a more anatomic and youthful appearance. As we age, our skin loses some of its tone and starts to sag. This also can cause fat pockets around the eyes to become more prominent.
