West Houston Eye was established in 1991 by Dr. Linda Rhodes, Optometrist as full-service independent eye care and vision therapy practice dedicated to individualized, personalized optometry services. West Houston Eye provides quality eye care utilizing state-of-the-art technology and ophthalmic instrumentation, supported by a professional, dedicated staff.
Services include eye examinations for glasses and contacts, management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, emergency eye care consultation, cataract, and LASIK pre-consultation and post-op care, and frame fittings with experienced opticians. An optical center is located on the premises, stocked with a selection of eyewear to include more than 500 designer frames and sunglasses, available in both prescription and non-prescription.

West Houston Eye offers a wide selection of contact lenses. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Warstler are highly accomplished at fitting all types of contact lenses, including specialty contacts for astigmatism and bifocal correction, and lenses for the "hard to fit" patient. Trial lenses are available for wear prior to ordering contact lenses for most patients.

Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, our West Houston optometrists accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. West Houston Eye is a "Participating Provider" of Medicare. This means that we will complete and file your Medicare forms.
