Spartan Pharmacy was founded in 2003 by Adam Rice and Kevin McCaffrey, graduates of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Got my Moderna Covid booster there. Friendly, polite, and professional!!! Not like other pharmacies (CVS on 51 & Walgreens in Plst.Hills) where folks are argumentative and doing you a favor

Only pharmacy in the area that can fill my rare prescription and Im very thankful for them! But during my recent visit no one was wearing masks even when filling prescriptions. They are giving vaccinations which means they are around unvaccinated people and even if they are vaccinated they can still get and spread Covid. Anywhere that handles medicine for medically fragile people and who is also doing Covid vaccinations should require workers to wear masks. Please think about the people you care for, you might survive Covid but your patient might not. A lot of people also cannot get vaccinated

I got my first COVID-19 vaccine yesterday at the Spartan Pharmacy site in Brentwood and was amazed at how efficiently they moved people through the process. Obviously the event was very well planned.

My toy poodle was diagnosed with epilepsy a few years ago and because of her small size, her seizure medication has to be compounded. I've used another local compounding pharmacy and I actually can't remember a single refill that went smoothly. It was hard to actually get through to someone over the phone, if you did, they always seemed rushed and overwhelmed and like you were bothering them. It was always a hassle to get a refill and they were never willing to reach out to the vet etc. Numerous times they had forgotten to call me to let me know that I was out of refills and needed a

Why didn't the pharmacy notify patrons of the pharmacy that they were giving covid shots? My husband has been getting his prescription there for years but we were never notified. You obviously have our phone number and email.

The absolute BEST pharmacy you could ever go to. I have been going to them since they opened and I promise you, you will never find a better place. The people who work there are amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. Just the best!

The staff at Spartan Pharmacy were quite literally vacation savers nearly two weeks ago. My wife was diagnosed and prescribed meds for the flu at 7:30pm on Sunday night with a flight out of the country planned for 6 am the following morning. Not a single pharmacy in Pittsburgh that was open that we talked to had the med in stock except Spartan. Not only did they have it when I called at 7:52.... they stayed open for us about 30-40 minutes past their closing at 8 so we were able to get the med for my wife to begin taking before and throughout our vacation.
