This funeral home began its humble beginning when Mr. Dickey entered into partnership with Mr. C. R. Brown of Picayune, MS which was originally located on Division Street. Initially the partnership with Dickey and Brown began the Brown S. Mortuary, which afterwards, the partnership was dissolved which Mr. Dickey founded Dickey Brothers Funeral Home.
