Having lived in a Slater apartment this year, I strongly urge anyone considering renting TO NOT RENT. The apartments are poor quality and painted over and have frequent maintenance issues. More significantly, the owner, Larry Slater, refuses to do maintenance on his own buildings and used profanity and hung up when I submitted basic maintenance requests, despite never missing a rent payment. The poor customer service is honestly astonishing from the owner of this company.

Ive rented with Slater for about 7 years in two different apartments. Management is very responsive and friendly. Not a faceless company. Their office is convenient and they invest back in their properties (something Id love to see more management companies do).

We've lived in a Slater apt for the past 2 years and have loved our experience. The apartment was nice, renovated, and always maintained. Whenever we needed anything they would come right away and fix any issues we had. Highly recommended!
