Western Heights was founded in 1968 by Wallace and Norma Franklin. In 1962, Wallace and Norma opened Western Heights Church down on Bridge near Five Points. They grew out of that location and relocated to our current location in 1965. The child care center was opened in 1968 to meet the need of the community around them, when they noticed so many children were being left alone during the day.
Out of their love for the children of this community our learning center grew and flourished! Western Heights Church was founded by Rev. Wallace and Norma Franklin off of Bridge street in the south valley of Albuquerque, NM. Relocated to current location. Pastor Franklin and the men of the church built the building where our child care center currently operates.
