Dr. Timothy Nguyen, a practicing general, cosmetic, implant, and orthodontic dentist in Houston, is a 1999 graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch where he received his doctorate degree. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences at The University of California at Irvine. He also is a Certified Dental Technician and manages his own private dental lab.

Dental x-rays can be either intraoral or extraoral, to view both the teeth and structure surrounding the teeth. X-rays are used to visualize tooth decay, changes in bone density, abnormalities in roots, and tooth placement.
