Services
Corneal Refractive Therapy
Our FDA-approved corneal refractive therapy reshapes the cornea overnight using specially designed contact lenses. This non-surgical treatment effectively manages myopia progression in children and provides daytime vision correction for adults. Clinical studies demonstrate its efficacy in slowing nearsightedness progression by 30-50% in pediatric patients.
Eye Exams
Comprehensive eye examinations assess visual acuity, eye coordination, and peripheral vision while screening for glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Our advanced diagnostic equipment enables early detection of ocular health issues without requiring pupil dilation in most cases. These exams are crucial for maintaining optimal vision at all life stages.
Contact Lenses
Specialty contact lens fittings include options for astigmatism, presbyopia, and dry eye patients. We offer daily disposables, extended wear lenses, and rigid gas permeable designs. Our optometrist ensures proper lens selection through detailed corneal mapping and tear film assessment for optimal comfort and visual clarity.
Eye Diseases
We diagnose and manage common eye diseases including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Treatment plans incorporate medicated eye drops, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialists when necessary. Regular monitoring helps preserve vision in patients with chronic ocular conditions.
Eyewear Selection
Our optical boutique features over 1,000 frame styles from premium brands like Ray-Ban and Burberry. We offer anti-reflective coatings, progressive lenses, and UV-protective sunglasses. The practice provides both prescription and non-prescription safety eyewear that meets ANSI impact resistance standards for occupational and recreational use.

Questions
What is Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT)?
CRT uses specially designed contact lenses worn overnight to temporarily reshape the cornea, providing clear vision during waking hours without glasses or contacts. It's FDA-approved for myopia management in children.
How often should I get an eye exam?
Adults should have comprehensive exams every 1-2 years. Children require annual exams, especially during school years when vision changes rapidly. More frequent monitoring may be needed for patients with eye diseases.
Can you treat eye diseases?
We diagnose and manage glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Treatment includes medicated drops, lifestyle modifications, and specialist referrals. Regular monitoring helps preserve vision in chronic cases.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $50 fee to maintain scheduling efficiency for all patients.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most vision insurance plans including VSP, EyeMed, and Davis Vision. Our staff can help verify coverage details and maximize available benefits for exams and eyewear purchases.

Phone number listed on Google Places is incorrect and rings through to a busy tone. Correct # is listed on their website. Once I got through to schedule an appointment there was some confusion regarding my vision insurance. I wasn't in the systems that they tried looking me up on so I asked if "out of state" insurance was a problem as I have BCBS from another state which I'm certain my vision insurance is provided by. In response to that they said "this has never happened" and that my appointment would not be covered by insurance.
Sorta went in a couple of loops in the conversation with things

Doctor Yu went right to it and made sure that my prescription was accurate. I feel like she was very careful in making sure that she got it right. Dr Jean was on time so I could get right back to work when I needed to. Her office is neat and clean and has many frames to choose from.

Thank you for the exam and advice. I have been unable through my primary caregiver to obtain the name of a neuro ophthalmologist. Do you have someone to refer to me? Thank you so much.

My visit for vision test and a new pair of glasses was above expectation. The receptionist was very nice, carefully followed guidelines of current pandemic precautions in cleaning and sanitation steps. Dr. Yu was very caring, professional, patiently answered all my questions. I liked the frame and glasses with many extras beyond the insurance coverage. Dr. Yu gave me a very nice price and discount. I will definitely recommend Dr. Yu for vision checks and correctional vision treatment. Thank you Dr. Yu.
