Cavities can be prevented by careful daily hygiene. We recommend brushing your teeth at least twice daily. Flossing is important, too, so be sure to floss between your teeth every day, then rinse with mouthwash to kill any remaining bacteria. It's a good idea to come to our office twice a year for regular checkups and cleanings.

The first step of effective preventive care begins with making a semi-annual appointment with Dr. Nadler or Dr. Sheth-Nadler and one of our highly trained hygienists. Regular healthy dental hygiene cleanings and exams play a major role in the removal of destructive tartar buildup which, if left untreated, can lead to gum disease and bone loss.

One of the major problems that can wreak havoc on your oral health is periodontal disease, more commonly known as gum disease.
