Precious People Child Care

Our staff is dedicated in creating a safe and loving learning environment to care for your "Precious Little People." Our staff is fully qualified and state approved. We take pride in having long term staff employment and highly qualified staff. Over 70% of our staff has a minimum of an associate's degree in Education.

Precious People Childcare is equipped with 9 individual classrooms to accommodate each age level. Children enjoy age appropriate classrooms with peers of their age that they develop lasting friendships with. We also have wonderful outdoor playgrounds and large grassy areas to allow for plenty of outdoor play for all ages!

The Preschool Class is structured to teach the students the skills needed to be successful in our Pre-K class. The curriculum will consist of, but not be limited to, mathematics, letter and name recognition, social and motor skills, as well as monthly themed activities. We will also focus on life skills, manners, appreciating differences, and the environment.

We provide before and after school care and transportation to and from the Mars Area School District. This includes care for kindergarteners for morning or afternoon care, as well as midday bussing contracted through AJ Myers Bus transportation for our kindergarten children.

Children have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with friends, work together on crafts/activities, participate in weekly 4H after school program, savor a weekly snack cooking activity, and many other experiences in a structured, safe, and nurturing environment.

Children may attend the program on a full time or part time basis with extremely reasonable daily rates. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, have fun with some exciting visitors and field trips, stay active with sports and games, work together with friends on crafts/activities, and keep their precious little minds nurtured by participating in the Mars Area Library Summer Reading Program.
