Born in New Jersey, but I've lived in Northeast Ohio as long as I can remember! My love for photography began in high school, more than 20 years ago! My photography teacher at Hudson High School, Jim Roetzel, taught me how to see differently - how to use light as my "paint" - and how to use post-processing (albeit on film and in a dark room back in those days) to improve the end results.
Ever since, I've been hooked - and in 2017 started expanding to shooting more than just vacations and my kids, but taking on clients to start a Family & High School Seniors photography business that is now a passion - across the Hudson, Twinsburg, Solon, Aurora, Chagrin Falls areas and beyond!

I think a great portrait is much more than just an image of the subject's outward appearance. It tells a story. It provides a tiny glimpse into one's personality, life, and character at a fleeting moment in time. My job as a photographer is to understand what story a client wants to tell - and through creative use of camera skill, lighting, surroundings, posing, and post-processing, be that storyteller for the client through my images.

While there's no "right" time to get senior photos taken, many incoming seniors start thinking about doing their senior pictures session during the spring of their Junior year. This allows for a flexibility when it comes to getting outdoor photos during the summer months and provides a nice buffer to get edited photos back before any yearbook deadlines.
