The Good Life Preschool, located just outside Newberg in Dundee, OR, offers both Preschool and Pre-K classes focusing on children 2 1/2 - 5 years old! We now have a second location in the beautiful Chehalem Cultural Center in downtown Newberg! The Good Life Preschool main location is located in Dundee, OR, in the Dundee Red Hills between Newberg and Dundee. We also have a second location out of the beautiful Chehalem Cultural Center in downtown Newberg for morning preschool classes called "The Good LIfe "U", to represent our urban setting.
Staff
Report
The preschool teachers are highly qualified, with our Directors holding a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and the Managing Director holds a Master Degree. Our other staff have an Associate degree or college classwork and training in early childhood education. The provider (Lead Teacher), substitute providers (teachers), and any Assistant II-level staff are required to have fifteen (15) clocked hours of training related to child care every year.

Yes, we require that children are potty trained in order to attend the Good Life Preschool. We define fully potty trained by no more than two accidents per week consistently and able to go potty on their own without prompting. We also know that many times when starting in a new environment that children that are potty trained will regress, this is completely normal for a few weeks up to a month.

At the Good Life Preschool, children will get to explore areas of music, yoga, drama, cooking, art and gardening through our specialty programs. Children will also be exposed to Spanish through the bi-lingual curriculum that continues to build.
We believe in providing a best of all worlds environment where we have pulled the best research based curriculum (DLM-child-centered curriculum with strong teacher support and 21st century technology encompassed into one, GEM (Growth Early Mindset) and our favorite Montessori activities throughout the day.)

We are currently open for preschool and pre-k classes Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM-5:30 PM at our main Dundee location and 8:30 AM-12:00 PM at our Newberg location at the beautiful Chehalem Cultural Center! Tuition includes all meals and snacks throughout the day at our Dundee location and a morning snack at our Newberg location.
