Dr. Trina Jones was born and raised in Arkansas, and while she has lived in Oklahoma for over 36 yrs she is still a Razorback at heart. Even so, that doesn't cause her any conflict rooting for the Sooners, Cowboys or TU and of course our beloved Thunder. After serving in the Army she came home and started college at University of Arkansas Ft.

Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed.

Dr. Jones believes that it is very important for her patients to have regular eye examinations. Some insurance companies seem to think that it would be acceptable to go 2 years between exams. However, there are several diseases and conditions that prompt more frequent examinations. Just because the insurance company says 2 years does not mean that is best practices.
