Services
Dental Care
Brookside Veterinary Hospital provides comprehensive dental services including teeth cleaning, gum disease treatment, and oral examinations. Annual cleanings prevent periodontal disease that can affect pets' heart, liver, and kidney health. Our team uses modern techniques to maintain pets' oral health.
Emergency Services
We offer emergency veterinary care for pets experiencing accidents, sudden illness, or severe pain. Our facility handles critical conditions requiring immediate attention and provides after-hours emergency consultations for urgent situations.
Vaccinations
We administer core vaccinations against diseases like rabies, distemper, and parvovirus, while offering non-core vaccines based on pets' lifestyle risks. Our vaccination programs protect individual pets and maintain community herd immunity against contagious illnesses.
Spaying/Neutering
Our surgical team performs spay and neuter procedures using laser technology for reduced pain and faster recovery. These surgeries prevent unwanted breeding while offering health benefits including reduced cancer risks and behavioral improvements.
Wellness Exams
Annual wellness visits include physical examinations, preventive treatments, and health screenings tailored to pets' age and condition. These checkups establish health baselines, detect early disease signs, and ensure pets receive appropriate vaccinations and parasite prevention.

I was up north and forgot to bring my dogs heart worm meds and flea and tick meds. They allowed my vet to email them proof of heart worm test and script. And saved me 5 hours of driving home and back. I called over a dozen vets and they were the only ones that offered to help.

We were in Traverse City for a vacation when my daughter's 10 month old Golden retriever pup developed a quick growing lump in her neck. I called every vet I could find and they were old closed. They took some fluid and smeared it and concluded that it was a reaction to a spider bit or bee sting. Gave her antibiotics and steriods and clear directions how to give the medication and symptoms to look out for. They were so sweet with both the

Taken both of our cats there now. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We gladly drive the 45 minutes to them. There prices are very fair, and they help out those in need with a fund. We always try and give a little extra to help out
