Just Appeals
Just Appeals, The Law Office Of Scott M. Davidson, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, represents clients nationwide who are fighting for their futures after being wronged in a criminal or civil trial decision. I founded my law firm with a simple goal: To see that justice is done for every client I represent.

Civil and criminal appellate litigation has been my passion for more than 25 years. During that span of time, I have successfully litigated a wide spectrum of appellate issues in state and federal courts from coast to coast. I served as a judicial law clerk for appellate justices, I taught appellate and post-conviction law and practice at the University of New Mexico School of Law.
Services
Attorney & Staff
Report
Attorney Scott M. Davidson's legal experience spans two decades of federal and state trial and appellate litigation. In 1996, Mr. Davidson was selected as a judicial law clerk for the Supreme Court of New Mexico, working with Justices Pamela Minzner, Richard Ransom, and Daniel McKinnon.

From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Davidson litigated federal multi-district civil class-action antitrust and securities cases, appeals, federal criminal cases, and civil rights cases while an associate at Freedman Boyd Daniels Hollander Goldberg & Cline PA.
New Mexico State Criminal Appeals
Report
As an experienced criminal appeal and post-conviction attorney, I am also ready to help you fight to right a wrong you may have suffered in state courts throughout New Mexico. If you are confident you have been wronged by police, prosecutor or judge at any point in the state criminal proceeding, you owe it to yourself to fight to clear your record.
Federal Criminal Appeals
Report
After a conviction, you might think your case is over, and in many cases, this is true. However, when there is reversible error in the trial that led to the conviction, there is a chance for an appeal. If successfully handled, the appeal could reverse the conviction and eliminate the criminal conviction completely, along with the penalties that a conviction brings.
Habeas Corpus Cases
Report
If you or a loved one has a wrongful conviction, and you have exhausted remedies through a direct appeal, your case may be ripe for post-conviction relief. Although post-conviction and habeas corpus cases can sometimes be time-consuming and costly, if there is relief available, success can change your life.
Pardons & Clemency
Report
If you were convicted of a crime and you have an otherwise clean record, your case may be deserving of executive clemency, such as commutation of sentence or pardon by the President or the Governor. As an experienced New Mexico state and federal appeals and post-conviction attorney, I believe that pardons and other forms of executive clemency are not utilized as often as they should be.
