In-Clinic Testing
Our in-house diagnostic lab provides rapid blood work analysis including complete blood counts, chemistry panels, and thyroid evaluations. We conduct heartworm tests, pancreatitis screenings, and parvo/giardia diagnostics to enable immediate treatment decisions. This capability ensures critical conditions receive prompt attention without waiting for external lab results.
24 Hour Emergency Service
Emergency veterinary care operates around the clock with experienced doctors available for critical pet situations. Our facility maintains diagnostic tools, surgical capabilities, and life-saving equipment during after-hours. Same-day appointments prioritize trauma, poisoning, and acute medical crises while ensuring continuity of care with daytime medical records.
Surgical Suite
Our surgical department handles routine and complex procedures including spays/neuters, dental extractions, and orthopedic repairs. Pre-surgical blood testing ensures patient safety while modern anesthesia protocols minimize risks. Post-operative care combines pain management with detailed home care instructions for optimal recovery outcomes.
On-Site X-Ray
Digital radiography provides immediate imaging for suspected fractures, foreign objects, and internal organ assessments. This technology enables faster diagnosis of urgent conditions like intestinal blockages or respiratory issues. Our team interprets results in conjunction with physical exams to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Spays and Neuters
Routine sterilization services include comprehensive pre-surgical evaluations and tailored anesthetic protocols for cats and dogs. We provide age-appropriate timing guidance and post-operative care instructions. This essential service prevents unwanted litters while offering health benefits like reduced cancer risks and behavioral improvements.

Do not use this facility. reckless and unprofessional

They didnt bother showing up to court and have made no effort to rectify the situation. They were very unprofessional when confronted with the situation initially.… They overcharged for a procedure that was not properly conducted, nor was it completed. Had I gone with their diagnosis and incompetent test my cat would have died a slow and painful death via impaction. Another vet immediately found the issue and

My dog Bella had a swelling on her face that was near to closing her eye. I stopped by the McComb Animal Hospital but they were closed. I was walking back to my car when Dr. Genie came outside and ask what the problem was. When I told her she had me bring Bella inside. Dr. Genie was very compassionate and caring. I appreciate her seeing Bella after hours unannounced. Thank you Dr. Genie.I Highly recommend McComb Animal Hospital. 5 Stars!
