TCI Bilingual Montessori School is the only AMI Montessori, Chinese-English immersion school in Minnesota. We are the only AMI recognized Montessori school in our area.

The Montessori pedagogy is timeless because it was not born out of theories or hypotheses, but was developed based on years of scientific observation of children. Today, observation continues to be the cornerstone of what we do. Through scientific observation and diligent note taking, we identify each child's interests, obstacles, as well as patterns of behavior, and adapt lesson plans according to individual developmental needs.
About Language Immersion

Every child is gifted with the amazing ability to acquire multiple languages effortlessly. Before the age of 6, the child absorbs every aspect of the language(s) he/she is exposed to: the vocabulary, intonation, pronunciation, and accent. There is thus no better time to provide them the opportunity to learn a second language.

During the beginning years, children are in a self-construction process and the brain is developing at a tremendous speed. They gain multi-dimensional understanding of the world by exploring and absorbing through their acute senses.

Some refer to this developmental period as "The Terrible Twos." We disagree; toddlers are terrific. We love everything about them - their energy, determination and curiosity - and purposefully created a very special place for your toddler to learn. Your child has a natural drive to be independent which we encourage by creating an environment where everything is just the right size for her to do things on her own.
