Complete Dental health includes a set of teeth that have no cavities or fractures, no bleeding of the gums, have a "protected" bite and unstressed jaw joint, and stay in the same place indefinitely. IT is rare to have all of these at the same time, and each of them is as destructive as the other. As we age (regardless of age) our bodies are in a constant state of change.

Most of us have some form of bite disease and don't realize it. Mainly, it it is caused by teeth crowding as we age, yet other factors such as clenching and cracked teeth/filings are responsible as well. IT IS AS DESTRUCTIVE, IF NOT MORE, THAN CAVITIES AND GUM DISEASE COMBINED! Likewise, it doesn't hurt, but is slow and constant, taking your precious enamel away, making teeth short, dark and brittle, and leads to TMJ.
